Will anyone read this? I have NO idea.

Really. I have no truck with things technological. In the first place, I don’t have the patience to make them work. And in the second place, I don’t fully understand how they work, and so what would be a frustrating time suck under the best of conditions quickly turns into a hair-ripper of the first order.

This site has been one of the prime hair-rippers. It’s been off-line for a week or so because we haven’t been able to get it online at the new web server. Sites have been up and down, no explanation has been forthcoming, and when my Guru asks, he gets con

ARRGHHHHHHHHHHH!

Oh, I give up. The damn system just deleted 30 minutes worth of writing! I hope that within another week we’ll be at another website host. Maybe things will work better there. Otherwise…well, I guess I won’t have much choice but to throw in the towel and go back to teaching freshman comp. I’m sure not going to make any money at publishing if I can’t get a website that will stay online and work!

I’m sorry. I am too discouraged to go on. It’s 2:30 in the afternoon, I’ve been working since 6:30 or 7 a.m., and though I’ve gotten stuff done, nothing, but nothing is working the way it should. I can NOT handle any more!
